Industrial displays are displays used in industrial control processes or equipment. The main difference between it and civilian or commercial monitors is that the shell design generally adopts an all-steel design, and the panel is divided into different materials such as ordinary iron plate, stainless iron, stainless steel, aluminum panel, etc. Liquid crystal display, in the case of high environmental requirements, consider using a wide temperature (-40 to 85 degrees) liquid crystal display, currently only a few large foreign manufacturers produce this type of display, the price is more expensive. The protection level of the industrial display is represented by IP**, the former is the dustproof level, and the latter is the waterproof level. The dustproof rating is Z-high 6, and the waterproof Z-high is 8.

According to the different installation methods of customers, industrial displays can be divided into the following types:

1. Open industrial display

2. Embedded industrial display

3. Rack-mounted industrial display

4. Flip-chip industrial display

5. Wall-mounted industrial display

Open Frame Industrial Display

The industrial display has no face frame shell, only the interior. Most of the customer's applications are mainly in the equipment and small size. There are already exquisite shells. There is not much space to install general displays, such as ATM machines, commercial POS, etc., which are generally installed in inside the client device.

Embedded Industrial Display

As the name implies, the embedded industrial display must be embedded in the customer's product. The customer's product must have a medium-to-large control cabinet. Our embedded industrial display is only the panel, and the rest are embedded in the customer's equipment. Fix it with hooks (for large control cabinets, only need to open a large square hole according to the size of the opening in our embedded display installation drawing) and no installation holes are required in other places.

Rack Mounted Industrial Displays

Generally speaking, the rack-mounted industrial display is, for example, installed on a 19-inch cabinet, so its width is standard 19 inches, and the mounting holes are opened according to the standard U number. It is generally used in large cabinets such as telecommunications, electricity, and large servers. Flip-Chip Industrial Display

To put it simply, it is an industrial display installed in the customer's cabinet and equipment in reverse. It is an industrial display installed inside the customer's machine equipment. Unlike the open industrial display, it has a shell and power supply, and its edge is connected to the customer's machine. The edges of the shell overlap, and are generally used in large and medium-sized equipment, such as electric power, machinery, and medical industries.

Wall Mounted Industrial Display

The feature is that it can be hung, not only on the wall, but most of them are installed on the customer's equipment. It can adjust the angle according to the customer's requirements, and with the appropriate mounting arm, he can stay at any position at will, For users to watch, generally used in small, medium and large equipment.

typical application

1. Displays for industrial field control; 2. Embedded in various equipment as display devices; 3. Displays for telecommunications and network computer room hosts; 4. Monitoring displays for trains, subway stations, ports; 5. Vehicles (trains, subways, automobiles) ) monitors; 6. Reinforced or military-grade monitors are generally used in harsh environments in the wild, military vehicles, and warships; 7. Advertising machine, in residential elevators, public places, commercial office buildings, etc. . Industrial LCD monitors currently range from 6.4 inches, 8.4 inches, 10.4 inches, 12.1 inches, 15.1 inches, 17 inches to 21 inches.

select requirements

For the fast-growing Chinese enterprises, it is an inevitable trend to gradually realize production automation, and liquid crystal display equipment needs to be used in the process of production automation. How to choose a monitor that suits your production requirements? How to choose an industrial-grade monitor? Need to know about monitors. The industrial display is made of industrial LCD screen and industrial components, and has the properties of anti-magnetic, shock-proof, dust-proof and dust-proof.

How to choose a suitable product can be considered from several aspects such as installation method, size, panel structure, signal type and LCD screen performance.

Industrial Display Classification

Industrial LCD screen installation methods can be divided into rack-mounted, flip-chip, embedded, open and modular.

The rack-mounted industrial display is used in industrial control cabinets, chassis and other equipment. The chassis is generally in U, and 1U is equivalent to 44CM. Commonly used 4U, 6U, 8U and so on.

The flip-chip industrial display is flipped from the back of the cabinet, and only the liquid crystal display area is displayed on the front of the cabinet.

The embedded industrial display is directly embedded from the front of the cabinet and fixed with hooks on the side.

Common sizes of monitors

Common sizes of industrial monitors are 5.6 inches, 6.4 inches, 8.4 inches, 10.4 inches, 12.1 inches, 15 inches, 17 inches, 19 inches, 18.5 inches, 21.5 inches, 22 inches, etc. Other sizes can be customized with the LCD monitor provider.

Display panel structure

Industrial displays generally use magnesium-aluminum alloys, cold-rolled steel sheets, electro-galvanized sheets, stainless steel sheets, hot-dip galvanized sheets, die-casting aluminum and other materials as the panel structure.

Interface Type

Industrial display interface also adopts VGA and AV interface, DVI digital signal interface

The performance of industrial LCD screen

Industrial LCD displays have the following properties:

5.1. Contrast

Unlike consumer monitors that are primarily intended for direct viewing, industrial-grade monitors may not be viewed at the optimal distance or ideal lighting conditions, so higher contrast monitors are the best choice. A contrast ratio of 450:1 is ideal for 10.4", 12.1" or 15" monitors used in most industrial areas.

5.2. Brightness

Since most flat panel displays are used in indoor environments where the brightness is around 250 to 300cd/m2 (nits), LCDs with a diagonal size of 15 inches are most commonly used, however, displays of this brightness level are widely used in industry It is unsatisfactory to use in the environment, because the light of the environment will be stronger, and its brightness can easily exceed the brightness of the LCD backlight. Also, touch screens are often used in industrial environments, which also reduces the brightness of the display, making it appear darker. In typical medical, industrial and public telephone booths, the required brightness is at least 450 cd/m2. Response times are in the past with passive display technology.
